Why MiFarmStore exists
Michigan has farms, roadside stands, orchards, apiaries, homesteads, markets, and cottage-food businesses in communities across the state. Many are difficult to discover unless you already know where to look.
MiFarmStore brings those producers into one reviewed directory organized around two practical questions: what can I buy, and where can I find it?
A trustworthy directory first
We are starting deliberately. Producers submit their information, an administrator reviews it, and only approved listings become public. A smaller, useful directory is better than a large collection of stale or questionable records.
Built to grow
Farm pages may eventually support current availability, inventory, pickup scheduling, ordering, and storefronts. Version 1 focuses on helping people discover and contact Michigan producers.
